A Unique Single Bed Quilt Made for a One‑of‑a‑Kind Twin

Singlebed quilt for my great grand-niece, one of a set of twins now 10 years old. Top  made entirely from my stash, modern backing visible in closeup. She did not want to be “matchy-matchy” with her twin who received a “Squiggles” quilt at the same time.

This was the first of a pair of single bed quilts made for my twin grand-nieces for their 10th birthday. The pattern came to me from the Royal City Quilters’ Guild Stashbusters group.

 It is made from a Laura Ashley print from the ’80’s and the good parts of a textured cream coloured sheet. Pantograph pattern is “Diamonds are Forever” by Patricia E. Ritter.
