Workshops
Joan Hug-Valeriote has been making quilts since 1977.  She learned to sew at about the age of 10 and was making all of her own clothes through high-school and university.  Only when she was at home raising children, did she discover quilting.

Cost $100 + GST for workshop only, accommodation and meals separate.

Maximum 10 participants. Please reserve early. Workshop will be cancelled if there is not enough registration by October 15th. Supply lists and line-drawings for experimenting with colour choices will be sent on receipt of a $50 deposit.

Shaded 4-Patch scrap quilts can be made from 6 inch squares.

Learn how to use the versatility of the Shaded 4-Patch block to create any number of variations in pattern and colour. Learn how to create this versatile block in various sizes, using Al Miller templates available at the workshop, Jodi Barrow ruler, or strip piecing.
