Kids Pillow and Linus Quilt Workshop
Teacher: Joan Hug-Valeriote

This class is intended to teach how to make a simple pillow and/or Linus quilt by hand, using traditional methods that can be used by children as young as 5 or 6, depending on their small motor skills. The pattern will be a simple checkerboard. A running stitch (quilting-stitch) back-stitch and blind-stitch or whip-stitch will be taught. The pictures below are from a Grade seven class.
